My Top 3 questions:

  1. The Algorand Vault paper was introduced in 2019. One complaint levied against Algorand is that the blockchain size is growing too fast. What is the status of Algorand Vault and the work regarding Fast Bootstrapping for Algorand? And will State Proofs play a role in this?
  2. The Inc previously had a job posting for an Algorand Smart Contract researcher, one that no longer exists. In the ad, it's mentioned that the researcher would focus on Algorand's Layer 2 Smart Contracts. Considering that the ad is no longer available, could we interpret this as this position being filled and work on the L2 progressing? If so, what can you tell us?
  3. Algorand doesn't fork and requires 90% consensus among node runners to upgrade. Is there a risk of this being too high in the future? Could we be hijacked by an extreme 10%? Or just “lazy” 10%?

IF they give a quick "can't answer" to my questions, OR if there is more time at the end, I'd like to ask these as well:

My top three questions:

For some financial applications transaction order fairness plays a major role. (Notation: If sufficiently many nodes receive a transaction tx before another transaction tx′, then no honest node can deliver tx in a block after tx′.) Is that even something stakeholders want? And then ka is this something that Algorand could achieve even without a tradeoff? And if there were a tradeoff, what would it be and how high would it be?

Solana had a security audit done on their architecture by Kudelsky security at the time. Is this something that Algorand might also be interested in? Is that even necessary? Do you have security audits done in between for different aspects and if so, can you publish them after some time? In general, how does quality assurance look like in the organization e.g. have you gone through various ISO certifications.

After we have upgraded to the 46k TPS, what options are there to then scale further without increasing the hardware requirements? Do we continue to rely on just running stronger hardware and what hardware specifications are particularly important there? If I have understood correctly, it is on the one hand the number cpu cores. Eventually, with the larger block size, the latency will increase. In a world, which has fully adopted blockchain and is dominated by Algorand, is latency a concern?
