If you don't precisely click on the trash can in the My Posts, you go to the splash. Or the Questions button, Offers button, or Edit button. In the Watch List if you hover over the price in the item, the pointer changes to an Edit bar, but it still clicks through to Splash.
I think the solution is to make the splash click area more limited, like just the picture and the title? Either that or show something when the mouse is over what will be a Splash click through more consistently, maybe highlight the entire item? Right now it is hard to tell what will happen when you click on something..
