Today in LBRS I got the alliance quest chain item from the final boss. As I understand this shouldn't be possible.

According to Wowhead, this is the alliance quest: https://www.wowhead.com/classic/quest=5089/general-drakkisaths-command You can see this also in the loot-table of Overlord Wyrmthalak: https://www.wowhead.com/classic/npc=9568/overlord-wyrmthalak

This here is the horde equivalent quest: https://www.wowhead.com/classic/quest=4974/for-the-horde

Could be an issue with cross-faction grouping along those lines. Normally you shouldn't be able to loot this as Horde character.
