Hello, One of the main features from The Great Suspender was the ability to set key shortcuts. This made it really easy for to suspend and un-suspend my tabs as I was control paging across my tabs.

I would love to see this feature in this add-on and it would make it much more usable for me.

+100 I'm used to ctrl+shift+S on chrome with the great sspender and I'd love to be able to super-quickly suspend tabs with firefox-tab-suspender as well.

@Hau-Hau Would you be opened to a PR implementing a shortcut (probably non editable for a first version) for switching between suspend/unsuspend states ? Unfortunately, ctrl+shift+S is already affected to Firefox's screenshot feature so we'll have to find another shortcut.

What to you think about ?

@brunetton , firefox keyboard shortcut can be remapped (at least in Firefox Developer edition 77.0b7-1) using "Manage Extesion Shortcuts".

EDIT: already +1 on the feature and I am here also for the shortcut (customizable if possible). The initial comment is out of topic.

@twnaing - What you are missing is that Tab Suspender currently has NO shortcuts associated with it. That is what we are asking for.

So +1 for this feature request too.

It seems such a simple/small thing to implement so I would suggest @Hau-Hau to please give higher priority in Trello-card to this feature which can save us a lot of time.

For fellow feature requesters, I inform that in the mean time we can use add-on: Freeze, Tab Suspender, which does the trick for now with F8 for suspend and ALT+left arrow to wake up the page. It's not using firefox's built in feature of tab discard, favicons are lost and it has much less features than firefox-tab-suspender, but it does the job and for me the shortcut is an essential feature.

I tried several other add-ons and none had the shortcut, if you know about another temporary better alternative please inform :)

Hi and thanks y'all for feedback,

First I want to apologize for that you wait sooo long for some basic features! FTS is under development, but current codebase in not continued. I'm not satisfied by current code quality and lack of tests from the beginning of development so I decided to rewrite extension. Current version was developed mostly for learning purpose, this time I want to make product with emphasis on quality and stability.

@daveiro In new version I want conclude all most desirable features, but it takes some more time to release. And for these reasons currently Trello isn't tracking project well, but I will do something with it.
