2 years ago Celo Foundation Grant Checklist
[ ] Are you eligible for a grant? The Celo foundation cannot currently support grants in sanctioned jurisdictions.
[ ] Check out the call for proposals! You can still submit an application for other categories, but please know that higher priority will be given to those applications that address communities' greatest needs.
[ ] Details, Details, Details - The more detailed the application, the better. The Grant Committee is looking for information supporting evidence of a project's viability. The more detail, the better!
[ ] Focus on results - what is the benefit & overall impact of this proposal on the Celo community? Clarity on how you plan to measure success with focus on impact are important parts of a successful project.
[ ] What about the money? - Get a higher score by mapping out how your funds will be allocated. Having a clear idea of what you will spend Grants funds on is an important part of the assessment process.
[ ] Ask for help! If you have questions about the application or process, attend office hours, or submit a question on discord. In addition, ask folks not directly involved in your project to look over your application and provide input.
[ ] Contribute to the community! We love projects that are contributors to the Celo community! Have you attended a Celo event? Are you a contributor to the Celo discord --- let us know!
[ ] Celo Foundation Grants is NOT a VC program - We are a grassroots-based Grants program, not a VC. If you’re fundraising, please consider other sources of funding.
