What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
0.3.1 on Windows
(GWT 2.4.0)

This can be worked around by overriding 
com.google.gwt.user.server.rpc.RemoteServiceServlet.checkPermutationStrongName()

Is this issue still a problem? If so, I'll need some additional information. Be 
advised that this error may also be encountered (especially during testing) if 
you don't have your project GWT compiled prior to trying to call the service.
