Offline Navigation

Routing and offline searching for places has been requested and accepted
before,

And there's already a tool to get GPS location.

All these can be combined to have a fully functional offline Navigation system!
If the program could calculate routes from current GPS location to
Destination in regular short intervals (every 2-3 seconds, or after every
50-100m change in GPS location) it could work like navigation.
It may not be as fancy as what google is offering in Android right now, but
it would be totally offline.

That sounds Great! but we are kind of short-handed do you "speak" Python?
