Hi Guys, great to hear you're coming to Amsterdam for the Haxe conference. And even better, just around the corner as we're based on the Overtoom in Amsterdam :-) ! We built our Content and Learning Management System on Haxe technology and have set quite a footprint with customers like Canon, Maersk, Nationale Nederlanden and many more. We'd be delighted to do a presentation ! Let me know if you'd be interested. Haxe regards, paul@boonsoftware.nl

Heyho Paul, I tried contacting you by email, but it appears that didn't work out. We'd be very interested to hear about your experiences with Haxe ;)

We would require a title and short summary for the talk to put on the website, as well as a picture + short bio of yourself.

Hey Juraj,

Here is a short description on our proposal. I'll attach a pdf with more information and an image of myself.

About Arjen Veneman Arjen Veneman is founder and co-owner of Boon Software.
He has 15 years of experience in building e-learning frameworks and solutions. Since 2012 we gradually started making the shift from as3/php to haxe and neko. Today we have a framework, build with Haxe, upon we create custom made e-learning solutions.

About the talk: “Using haxe to build an e-learning framework” In the talk I’ll discuss how we used haxe to create a model-driven, future proof framework. Our framework is build with haxe and allows us to create custom made e-learning solutions. I like to discuss 3 main aspects of this framework and how haxe helped us establishing them.

  1. Model driven architecture
  2. High structural and visual flexibility
  3. Minimal language (haxe-target) dependencies

Hi Arjen, thanks for all the info! :)

One small question to finish: how much time should we allocate for your talk (including questions?). You can have a 15/30/45 min slot.

Hi Juraj,

I think 30 minutes would be good.

Thanks! Arjen.
