REDCap logs me out every time I click on "My Projects" from within REDCap #20

When I'm using REDCap to look at or edit a survey, the link for "My Projects" is not

https://redcap-dev.health-eheartstudy.org/index.php?action=myprojects

but is

https://redcap-dev.health-eheartstudy.org/index.php?action=myprojects&logout=1

And I have to log in again. Every time. It sounds like a small thing, but I would estimate that it has now wasted some hours of my time.... this isn't how it's supposed to work, based on my experience with our other REDCap installs (plus it makes no sense to log me out just when I want to go to my project list.)

Not sure why this is happening to you. It does not for me. I just tried it in chrome on my MacBook. Try deleting your cookies and restarting browser

Unfortunately that didn't help -- and I have been using Firefox, but I just tried Chrome and Explorer. Sometimes I got the good link in Explorer, but mostly not.

For now I would bookmark the right link and use it instead

well, that would actually take more of my time to click on a bookmark. But if it can't be fixed, I guess it can't....

I rolled back the code to original 4.15.2 redcap and this problem exists there. It appears to have nothing to do with the additions we have made

julianagle commented 11 years ago

I thought it wasn't happening to you, though.

It is happening to me

Okay, your earlier comment said it wasn't happening to you. I guess we will just have to deal with it, though, unless there is a bug fix in REDCap, although I don't know if you'd be able to upgrade.
