Addons Active per Accounts without Allowing #173

Hello, after an issue, I have started setting up fresh from a newly downloaded Gw2Launcher(non-beta version). With the settings below, I still have Arc and its extension addons running per account I launch, despite there are no addon files inside the numbered folders. I have clicked resync, it deleted all the numbered folders but addons are still loaded per client launched. All my addons are under main GW2 Folder but this wasn't a problem when I was using the beta Launcher, now using the non-beta Launcher, is this the reason?

Example of a numbered folder:

Try changing "Desired level" to "Full". It was by trial and error but it works for me.

DX11? Since addons are stored in the main GW2 folder, they'll always be included. You have to use localized execution set to full to exclude them.

So it means I will set it to full and then manually delete the addons from certain numeric folders to prevent them from loading for those accounts? I will try and update this post when I can. Thank you.

Hey,

When I run with below settings + copy addons manually (Arc and its extensions) to folder 1, I get an error. Game(DX11) still launches but arc loses all settings and presaved builds on buildpad also not preset. Guess I will stop it, I don't want to mess up my long coming settings on these addons.

There was a time when it was suggested to run desired level: full and copy addons manually to selected accounts that we desire have addons working, it's not the case anymore?

Errors like that are generally caused by an addon missing a file or crashing.

How you copy addons is dependent on how they were installed. If you're using Arc direct from their site, you can just copy it around, whereas if you use the addon manager, it seems to do its own thing and you actually have to install the addons to the folder (can't just copy them).

Choosing to exclude addons depends on what you want - include to have addons automatically linked/copied by Gw2Launcher, then remove the ones you don't want vs exclude to manually copy the addons you want. When Gw2Launcher does it, it will link addons to the main folder (settings will be shared), but occasionally there's an addon that doesn't support sharing, which means manually copying is required - I have exceptions for Arc and d912pxy, everything else is shared.
