Minor changes to episodes based on teaching

This PR adds some small updates to the episodes based on initial teaching:

• adds alternative installation instructions for mac
• Adds lines to show masks in the viewer to thresholding exercise
• Warns students not to use radii larger than 10 in the erosion exercise
