Implementation of basic representativeness sampling. The current implementation does the following:
retrieve feature vectors from the bottleneck layer of U-Net architecture
maxpool the feature vectors in the spatial domain to reduce their size
for each item in the unlabeled set, compute the average feature distance to the labeled items and select the item with the highest feature distance for labeling
