It has imported data from all over the place, with Microsoft Academic Graph as a major source. See https://docs.openalex.org/api

I'm glad you are looking into OoenAlex, @baskaufs. I've already mentioned to Hilary that I think it may become very important to our scholarly communication and research information management activities. Would love to hear your thoughts.
