Hearthstone deck tracker fps drop #2418

I've been using the HDT for the past few months and have always had lag. Runs at (eyeballing) 20 fps-ish. Game runs completely smooth with HDT disabled.

What I've tried so far:

Disable Aero
Complete uninstall and reinstall of HDT
Windows Defender is not on, so it's not causing conflict
Swapped graphics card and drivers
Changed Antivirus from McAfee to Windows Security Essentials

If anyone can point me in the right direction it'd be much appreciated. Thanks.

Does it go back to normal if you enable options > overlay > hide (completely)?

Hey @azeier This helped me as well. Is there a known workaround so that I can see my decktracker overlay, and NOT have the lag?
