Deck Tracker won't open #3299

When I double click to start the deck tracker, nothing happens. Only thing that has changed since it worked is a few updates from Windows Update

The updates were

Definition Update for Microsoft Security Essentials - KB2310138 (Definition 1.245.977.0)

Microsoft .NET Framework 4.7 for Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 for x64 (KB3186497)

2017-06 Security Monthly Quality Rollup for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems (KB4022719)

Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool x64 - June 2017 (KB890830)

Security Update for Microsoft Silverlight (KB4023307)

I guess I should have system restored to check if these updates were the problem. Would Windows Updates prevent the deck tracker from working?

Could not set overlay as topmost

Possibly related to #3143

Thanks for the link. I looked into the other issue and mine seems to be different. For me, the main HDT windows doesn't even appear. There is just the icon oh HDT in the system tray and when I click on it, nothing happens. The overlay appears but with the deck last played and not the current deck that I am playing with when I first launch HS. I can't access the options menu since I can't see the HDT main window. Also tried running it in admin mode and it doesn't help. Latest log if it helps: hdt_log.txt

Same issue here, what's the actual solution?

riQQ commented 7 years ago

Maybe related to #3314.

kivonb commented 7 years ago

It still doesn't work for me. Have tried installing it as admin, tried the latest versions of HDT nothing works.

riQQ commented 7 years ago

Because your issue is different. HDT does start for you and doesn't crash. Have you tried deleting / moving your HDT config? Have you tried reinstalling / repairing the .NET Framework?
