Uneven permission - HDT not importing decks #3813

This issue has been reported in the past, however none of the answers provided solved mine.

Bug report

Hello, HDT pops up an error, "Uneven permissions" and won't import my decks when I enter the Play menu.

Expected Behavior

Decks should get imported automatically and load into HDT, and the program should work.

Actual Behavior

An error pops up, here is the screenshot : error

I do see an overlay, however it is not functional. I can select manually a deck that I saved manually card by card in HDT. I see the cards list but they don't get removed when I draw them or anything.

I have set up Hearthstone.exe, Battlenet.exe to run as Admin, and I am launching HDT as Admin as well. I am on Windows 10, I tried to disable Windows Defender Firewall I have put %APPDATA%/Local/Battlenet, %APPDATA%/Local/Blizzard, %APPDATA%/Local/Blizzard Entertainment and %APPDATA%/Local/Hearthstone Deck Tracker as exceptions in Avast! I tried to disable Avast! completely ... and it still won't work. I also tried to reinstall everything without success.

I am still getting that error and HDT is not working (it never worked by the way)

Copied from Discord:

Avast is known to cause problems: make sure you got all folders mentioned here: https://github.com/HearthSim/Hearthstone-Deck-Tracker/issues/2738#issuecomment-396091386

If you have all of them, it may be another program causing these issues You'll have to find that out by yourself, trying windows safe mode, and disabling programs incrementally in normal mode

Closing an anti virus doesn't really disable it

You can temporarily uninstall Avast to check if it's really Avast. If it is, you'll have to play with the settings or ask their support.
