PC Lagging when exiting last game and clicking play button #4227

This ONLY happens after the game is over and I am at the screen where the play button is. Up until that point, there is no issue. When I reach there, my whole PC becomes extremely laggy and mouse stutters for around 5 seconds~ (Not doing anything, not even clicking play yet, moving mouse to play is laggy always).

Game over> click few times to exit > reach the hero selection/play button screen > PC becomes laggy for ~5 seconds > then I click play button

I tried putting the HS folder in the appdata>local as safe and even tried disabling real time scanning on windows defender (dont use any other anti virus) but the problem still persists. Most of the issues for these people stem from lagginess while the game is in progress and when its reading the log file, mine happens only after the game.

HS and my mouse or PC has no issue when I close HDT when exiting the game. Any idea what HDT does inbetween this specific time period? Besides creating the replay file (I even added HDT in the safe folder in windows defender just in case too)

I have been having the same issue for a while now. Watching the CPU usage, HDT goes WAY up.
