Collection Manager "missing" keyword only includes craftable cards, resulting in normal copies of awarded golden cards to be considered "missing" #1248

SN1P-SN4P counts as "missing" when you only own the golden version

Searching for "missing" cards: Hearthstone Screenshot 08-07-19 17 21 26 (2)

But I have golden SN1P-SN4P: Hearthstone Screenshot 08-07-19 17 21 37 (2)

Also happens with Zayle

https://us.forums.blizzard.com/en/hearthstone/t/collection-zayle-still-missing-even-i-own-him-in-golden-version/6733

Hey, I´m owning golden copy of a Zayle but If i type “missing” in the search bar in collection, It´s showing that I´m missing that card. It shouldn´t show that, because every other card I´m owning in gold and not in normal copy is not showing when searching missing cards.

This likely happens with Gelbin Mekkatorque and/or Elite Tauren Chieftain for the same reason. The golden version was given as an award.

I've added the 'miscellaneous' label on this issue because I don't believe it is strictly a 'bug'.

A comment from the Zayle thread is a good summary, I believe

That is the way missing keyword has worked. Missing takes only the pool of craftable cards. The golden Zayle is uncraftable so it is not included. Therefore the result is to show you the regular Zayle.

The reason this is widely reported now is that Gelbin Mekkatorque and Elite Tauren Chieftain were hard to obtain. Zayle and SN1P-SN4P were obtainable to a much wider audience.

There certainly is an argument for improving the functionality of the 'missing' keyword, because the behavior is not exactly desirable in the current implementation. While I don't believe this is a bug, it is probably worth keeping this issue around to track the information.
