I’ve noticed that If you play Bronze Herald with the Dragonrider Talritha buff on it, and it dies with no other dragons in hand, then one of the Bronze Dragons gets the buff.
Today I noticed that this doesn’t happen any more. There was a minor patch a few hours before, maybe that has something to do with it.
Is this a bug or was it an intended change?
I have had both interactions happen in two seperate games. Bronze Herald got buffed by Talritha, then died without any dragons in hand. In the first game, one of the Bronze Herald’s dragons got buffed, and in the other, neither of the Bronze Herald dragons were buffed. With Herald having two different deathrattles, the order could be random (?).
I have been playing a quest reborn Paladin deck, but I have been having consistency issues with Dragonrider Talritha. 2x today I have had a dragon in my hand and the deathrattle buff apply to 0 dragons in my hand. 1 time I started with 0 dragons in my hand, but the Talritha buff was on my bronze herald. I played the the herald and created a 2/2 copy of it with the buff from Talritha. The herald is supposed to create 2 4/4 dragons in my hand and then apply the buff to 1 of them. This has worked several times before with no issue, but today the Talritha buff activated first before the herald deathrattle and I noticed that this happened a few times previously today during other matches. The following turn was the same scenario, but when the 2/2 copy died it worked as usual with the adding of dragons to hand followed by buff.
I’m not sure if this is a bug, or is intended… however, Dragonrider Talritha deathrattle lands onto a Bronze Herald, the Talritha deathrattle triggers first?
My understanding on how this would interact was Bronze herald had its deathrattle first by it’s base card text, and when another deathrattle was applied it would trigger in the order. The inverse occurs… and i’m not sure why?
Again, thats how i’ve seen other deathrattles behave, if I am wrong, please clarify.
Unsure what would influence the order but it wouldn't be the first case of weirdness from enchantment-added Deathrattles to cards in the hand (#1097).
