Ethereal Conjurer causes an animation hang

There is a glitch with Ethereal Conjurer card. No matter what type of battle I play, if I play the Ethereal Conjurer card in the deck it freezes all game play. No cards show up to choose from and then everything just hangs in the air until a player gives up and makes the game end. The only options available to choose is to concede or quit. No other play options work.

i just got this bug aswell, and im playing the solo thing to take over dalaran…

I had the same trouble twice since the last patch. I was in game when it froze. My opponent and me where not able to do anything but I could see where is cursor was hovering. When the game unfroze several minutes later, we drew cards until one of us died of fatigue.

this happened to me yesterday but I didn’t notice it was because of the ethereal conjurer, I tried playing again today, happened against Vesh, the final boss, when he was almost dead. So sad. Came here inmediately.

Yes ! I’ve been trying to signal this as well, happened to me twice right about now actually in adventure mode playing against trolls during phase 4/8 and another time during phase 5/8. AI plays the card but there is no war shout happening and it cannot draw any of the 3 spells. There is no timer (rope) to end the turn, AI still responds to the ’ chat ’ but the only way out that I’ve seen is either to give up or quit the whole game…

Ethereal Conjurer will now function correctly and will no longer lock the game state when played.

I have updated the new patch, but when i play ethereal conjurer in solo adventure the bug isn’t fixed

After update fixed on desktop but still bugged in mobile.

Just started another Tomb run, and same as last week, as soon as I play Ethereal Conjurer as Reno, my entire game crashes (iOS). When I moved over to the PC luckily the discover options were up and available, so the game wasn’t in a stuck state, but the card still appears to be causing disconnects on the iOS client and requires me to move over to a PC to fix it

Fixed a few various issues that would lock the game state when playing certain cards from hand.

Reports seem to have stopped with 17.2.2.
