The UI to claim the Free Deck is broken, and only Warrior decks can be claimed #1344

image I selected Mage, but the game says Warrior... now I'm afraid to click Take... what do I do?

Update: I recorded it and ended up getting the Warrior deck... I filed a ticket to blizzard and hopefully this will be fixed soon...

Greetings, there is a bug with Free Deck for returning players on my account. Despite my choice I only get offered a free Warrior deck. I can click any class icon, but description doesn’t change, it’s always a warrior one. After I click on ‘Take’ a new window shows up “Sure you want Warrior deck?” I click cancel, because I don’t want this deck. I tried relogging and still nothing, this bug occurs on all regions for me.

same thing happend to me yesterday :c

i just tried this out in americas region that i havent played on in forever (eu based). i tried picking different classes but it would only recognice warrior, also all classes i clicked on got highlighted and wouldnt stop being highlighted when i clicked on another class. i tried to pick mage and proceed, it asked if i want to pick the warrior deck. i tried to highlight all the classes, still got asked if i wanted the warrior deck, and so on.

The behavior we’ve had reported is the free deck for new and returning players selecting the wrong version despite your choice in the UI.

Blizzard appears to have disabled the feature until the bug can be patched:

Hi everyone,I was trying to claim my free deck to my old account but after I choose my deck,game gives error We encountered an error attempting to redeem your free deck.Please log out and back in to try again.I tried everything, but I couldn’t get it.Does anyone know how to fix it?

Fixed a bug where some players in Europe were only given the option of Warrior as their free deck after graduating the new player ranks.
