These will mostly work differently in 4.2 due to the Forced Death Phase change.
But if it gets reverted in the next patch, they may come back.

I and my opponent saw a display bug when my mimiron's head triggered at start of turn my side of the board was full I had piloted sky golem and piloted shredder out so 2 deathrattle minions that cycle and the minions appeared in between (half way to the right) themselves and the minion on the right showing a total of 9 minions temporarily when the mimiron activation finished and voltron appeared, they moved to the correct positions
You can have more than 7 minions visually on the board if you're still waiting on animations even without the voltron setup. Just start trading minions with on-damage triggers and play new minions quickly.

With a Warsong commander on board the mechs seem to stay on the board and V-07-TR-0N and Warsong are overlapping. Not sure whether it's enough to update this issue. Maybe there are other Auras affecting V-07-TR-0N with the same behaviour? Might also be connected to Time Warp...

Due to how Mimiron's Head visual effects work, the V-07-TR-0N's spawn animation can get skipped. In particular, if a different effect (such as Nightmare, Homing Chicken or Doomsayer marks minions TO_BE_DESTROYED before Mimiron's Head does (See http://hearthstone.gamepedia.com/Advanced_rulebook#.27Pending_destroy.27_bugs_and_effects and Rule 5), they will visually destroy (instead of remaining visibly on the board) when the Forced Death Phase of Mimiron's Head runs, becoming unable to be used in the animation.
