Interestingly unlike the Echoing Ooze version of this bug, even if returned above 0 health, the minion sometimes still cannot be used in combat. Sometimes it can, e.g. http://imgur.com/a/MtxLM

It seems to only happen in Yogg-Saron Tryouts Tavern Brawl.

If you want some more reports on this bug, just had it happen in brawl. It buffed itself with Mark of the Wild, summoning three 4/4 taunts, some board clear killed two of them, but this one got from negative health back to 0. Buffing it to positive health (with Explorer's Hat) didn't make it killable either. Opponent could target with it, but not actually attack, and I wasn't able to target anything but the taunted doppelgangster.
