Provide simple controls, even for bots that didn't previously have them: patrol or stationary, come or go-to, etc. Essentially, make bots more usable; despite this giving a remote advantage to players, using the bots requires forethought and inter-department play to provide advantage, which is the entire purpose of Science.
Now, to decide if Roboticists should have basic control of all bots' motions, allowing them to cheese the classic array of "cross-class security/medic" while themselves being Science, which is like... really overpowered. DD in the medibot, come-hither on a stunbot when you're getting attacked, etc. Player trust level: pushing it.
