Reduce memory usage #88

Some customers run Scope on fairly old hardware with little RAM, so it'd be good to reduce the memory usage.

Some quick ideas include

Reducing memory used for the communications stages
Spawning the log-viewer in a separate runtime with a memory size that depends on the actual file size
Not holding all log-viewer data in memory
