Privacy Error on https://hederis.com #41

There's something up with the DNS for the apex domain name, i.e. no "www." just https://hederis.com. It works if you just type hederis.com in because you get redirected to https and www, but I feel like some percentage of people will somehow go to https://hederis.com and see this sketchy looking business:

This also applies to the way the app is served. Though, relatedly, I was thinking of making that a subdomain, https://app.hederis.com ?

I think we need to do this, luckily godaddy seems to support cname flattening .

Ah awesome, thanks for spotting and troubleshooting this. Do you want to do the apex stuff, or do you want me to take a stab at it? I'm cool with either!

Also totally agree with app.hederis.com -- I was thinking the same thing!

Looks like I was wrong, Godaddy doesn't support cname flattening. So we basically can't fix this easily without potentially messing up email. It seems like CloudFlare may support what we need, or maybe AWS. I'd say we punt on this for now.

And I moved the product to app.hederis.com! Which at least takes care of that piece of it.
