Ok, just noticed that if you break the tunneler, the block thingies won't go away. Trying to fix, not working. This is very laggy anyway so I think I'm going to remove it for now (just disable) because it doesn't look or work good.
@540howdy, try build 366 http://heisenbugdev.com/downloads. @sammko, you may also like the new in world guis. Just put your crosshairs on a machine (ION Scanner is most interesting). What do yer think? :rabbit2:
In-world GUIS? sounds cool! I'm probably gonna go home tomorrow or the day after so I will check it out then On Dec 27, 2013 12:27 AM, "Theron Boerner" notifications@github.com wrote:

Mmmmmm. Look at that screenshot!
Oh that's so cool
Yeah, the idea came from RS485/Logisticspipes which has something like that but it's more of a hidden feature (theirs is MUCH more complex, including buttonz). This is always there rather than being really hard to find.
The ION tunneler is pretty unclear when it's mining. Maybe a laser or a visual to show that's it doing something?
@540howdy, does the latest build fix this? If you look at the block it gives you info (blocks left...)
The ION Scanner should also receive a visual.
Maybe a scanning blue laser coming from it? @sammko gets this one.
It seems I am able to run as many machines as I want on a single power line from a single generator with 0 energy decrease in efficiency. If this is right, may want to tweak it a bit
Don't have any ideas on a unique way to solve this. Don't think it's really a problem
Energy comes in the form of an ore found in the ground. This is your chance to create an energy system unique from other mods, one that's renewable.
Any more ideas other than the current #162 (QIG)?
BTW @540howdy, I edited your original post to add formatting to it. Visit here if you need any more help with it: https://github.com/adam-p/markdown-here/wiki/Markdown-Cheatsheet or ask me.
you can limit how much power each power source can emit every tick.
@LordFokas, I don't think that's a good way to handle it. Things like the capacitor need to be giving all it's got.
Finished the QIG guys.
Bug with guis:
So far the mod is pretty fun
Bugs
Tried right clicking one of the quantumcraft wires with your special wrench and it crashed Log: http://pastebin.com/gfBcE3UQGenerator is missing the fancy green charging bar. It's empty, but it seems reasonable that once the generator is full this bar should also be full.Wires take forever to take with picks, unless they're supposed to be broken by the wrench. (this crashes as stated above)Build 344: Can't open the GUI of any blocks.. Tried running it on a 100+ modpack then tried running it only with NEI. Didn't work on eitherFixed in later buildsThe Quantum De-Energizer never fills up completely with energy. I think this is because of the amount of energy each crystal has.Doesn't matterJust an opinion, but the Energy Extractor should be a built in GUI on a generator (Quantum De-energizer) instead of it being on its own blockWe thought about it when we implemented it, the extractor is meant for items that are processed and ready to use whereas things like the Deenergizer are for processing the materials themselves. The quantum de-energizer on the Getting Started page does not have a hyperlink to its article like the other itemsFixedRecommendations
The Big Question™
Why is this better than any other tech mod?
The theme of it is not complete and it doesn't add machines that completely make your game experience more enjoyable yet (at least not as much any ThermalExp) but it is adding some cool things that should catch on (IN WORLD GUIs!)
Okay I think I'm done, nice mod so far looking forward to seeing it in the future. Thanks
