I need a full list of sports so that i could pick appropriate icons for the sidebar navigation

It is the full list of 2-player sports commonly played. Be my guest and find any more 2-player sports you've heard of. List is here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_sports

I intentionally left them out because you can play all of them online! Same with chess but a lot of people play it face-to-face. If you're so stuborn as not to understand that I looked through the list of all the sports and picked out all of the good ones, feel free to do it as well and add what's missing.

Your argument is invalid. The exception you gave to chess applies to Go and Checkers (not sure about Backgammon).

It wasn't me who started the argument. We can't launch the website with 5 types of sports - it will look empty.
