When opening the recipe selector for an ingredient or product, Helmod will prefill the Filter field with the item/fluid name. It should use either the internal name or the translated name, matching the setting in the Recipe Selector. If Recipe Book mod is enabled, this isn't working correctly. With just base game, it seems to always be using the internal name. With Py mods, it's appears to be using the description rather than name.
