iOS cannot find bluetooth printer #71

This question is probably specific to iOS and the printer I am using so bare with me. The bluetooth settings on my phone doesn't pick up the bluetooth printer. And this library doesn't find the printer either.

However, the app that the printer comes with, downloadable on the App store, finds the printer. I noticed that this app has access to bluetooth (Settings -> Privacy -> Bluetooth).

So my question is, has anyone been able to successfully connect a bluetooth printer to their RN app on iOS? If so, do you have to pair it first in bluetooth settings?
