Lockbox usually empty #173

The boxes are normally empty or provide very little loot from green lockboxes from what I've seen.

As a side note, sorry guys, don't mean to keep posting here.

keep them coming notaslave, no problem at all, we are happy that you use the tracker, can you also please if im so kind to ask use the template that you see when you hit new issue? we have also a link to our database http://db.helios-empire.eu so that we know easier to which item/box/npc/quest you mean.

Will do, sorry about that, and as far as the lockbox in particular it's any box that I've found so far. I'm not sure about the higher end boxes but it may very well be that they are having the same issue.

Thus far I've generally been getting 1 item or nothing at all, might just be that the RNG gods hate me.http://db.helios-empire.eu/?item=16882#contains

might want to check those as well as I opened 3 and recieved nothing from a single junkbox.

i can confirm that out of 20 boxes only 2 had 1 item, a moss agate and a healing potion, all others where empty.... strange since drop changes are normal on those boxes/

Well, if you opened 20 of the same kind, I can verify that it's not just the one type of box, I've opened 3 different types of boxes and all of them seemed to have the same lack of items over the last few hours.

strong junkboxes, drop rather good items.

huh, well it might just be low level stuff then. However your database doesn't show the world epics http://db.helios-empire.eu/?item=34837 http://db.helios-empire.eu/?item=34622 http://db.helios-empire.eu/?item=31331 as possible loot from strong junkboxes as they should be rarely obtained from them.

based on the 2 items, they are identically, when you take into consideration that both are boxes the only difference is the skill needed for the lockboxes.. but that doesnt matter, that has to do with you either can open it and or gain a skillpoint for unlocking it.

what a difference is this.

look on the loot % of the strong junkboxes box.... that drops everytime items http://db.helios-empire.eu/?item=29569

that has items of 45% change.. thats rather high..

when you look on the one that has almost most of the time no loot.

http://db.helios-empire.eu/?item=16882#contains 11% is the max drop of that item.. then it goes quickly down.

heavy junkbox contains also a 45% drop change. http://db.helios-empire.eu/?item=16885#contains

remember that 10% dropchange or 11% means 89% NOT a drop.. you have a % of change to get that item in a lootwindow, that doesnt mean since it is on top that you will get it regardless... since its afterall 11% and that means most of the time not.

now take my first wave of test 20 boxes 2 got loot, then indeed 10% is rather normal..

so to come back on your story... you are just not lucky, just as me.. with a 10% drop change that is .. well most of the time.

you talk about those world epics, i cant find a source where they should be looted from... do you have information that can back it up?

Unfortunately I can't back that up with a link in any way, but I can say for a fact that when TBC was current I looted a few world epics from the boxes I gathered over the years. The drop chance is VERY small but all of the BoE world epics should have a very very very slight chance. Spinesever is only obtainable from a junkbox though, that much I am certain of http://wowwiki.wikia.com/wiki/Spinesever

hmmmm, if we have ( and that is mostly the problem with tbc, since data is always outdated ) good evidence then its rather easy to obtain, i will keep an eye on this one, and see if i can find something

The best I can do with any of the world BoE's is the link I provided from wowwiki showing that it's a strong junkbox only item, if I can find anything better I'll keep you informed. thanks for looking into it
