I set a time range of 2001-08-20T00:00:00 – 2001-09-01T00:00:00. But the time range doesn't really matter.
I added a layer of SOHO/MDI Magnetograms.
After the data were loaded, in the Space Weather Event Knowledgebase, I selected Active Region -> NOAA SWPC.
Some regions have AR icons on them.
If I uncheck the NOAA SWPC AR checkbox, then check it again, the number of ARs with icons on them may be different. Repeated unchecking/checking will show different numbers of AR icons each time, without any apparent pattern.
Sometimes the AR icons appear for just a moment, and then disappear.
I would expect that the number of icons would be the same regardless of how many times the checkbox has been toggled.
I have JHelioviewer Version 4.3.2.10674, running on a MacBook Pro, with macOS Monterey 12.5.1.
