A user has suggested re-considering the JPEG2000 compression parameters we use for AIA images, with a view to improving the reproduction of off disk structure when compared to FITS files. This may mean that the images get larger (in terms of MB). Issues to consider are (a) time taken to produce JPEG2000 images, (b) transfer rate from production location to GSFC, (c) ingestion speed, (d) increased pressure on existing storage.
