1 year ago We plan to improve profiles however it has to have relevance to a business model. We currently use profiles for the segmentation of newsletters etc. For this we don’t need much granularity (mainly the pilot's region). The existing experience drop-down is for internal reporting so we understand roughly our demographic. We will always consider ideas for monetisation that would require more detailed profiles

It's hard to disagree with investing in features and application changes that accelerate and enhance monetization.
However, this aspect is an issue as the pilot has a choice between Private and commercial/Instructor. For the Commercial pilot who is not an instructor, there is no accurate choice. Both Instructor and ATP are rated on top of either a Private or Commercial license. I would expect that capturing the ATP rating would be of interest as these are folks who provide tours and would enjoy leveraging Helipaddy to find sites.
Attached, find the FAA 2022 Active Civil Airmen Statistics - this highlights the case for:
.. /with Instructor as a rating and ATP (if you see the value) as a rating.
Leaving the app such that one has to select something that is inaccurate (eg. me, with Commercial/Instructor where I am not an Instructor)

The profile experience metadata requires a fix as the Commercial/Instructor is in many cases incorrect.
