Ability to turn off toolbar completely #1183

I'm just not a big fan of toolbar, which in other keyboards can be sometimes just turned off, but it's not possible in this app.

So all I wish for is just an extra option to turn it off, so the keyboard becomes shorter from the top.

Now all I can do is to have just symbols on it, but even if I want to have it clear, which is still not perfect solution, I have to touch the arrow on the left side to hide symbols, but I have to do it every time keyboard opens, so I just live with that.

Update:

Alright, turning on "Next-word suggestions" is enough for a small change - now there are three big empty spaces divided by a vertical bar instead of symbols in a toolbar.

That's something, but... I don't use suggestions and I'd like to have it turned off. I had all options except for a capital letter after dot turned off there.

Go to the toolbar setting...

In the Text correction setting, have you tried in the Suggestion section to activate only the Personalized suggestions and Next-word suggestions settings ?

(I have written this message with the settings indicated and I have neither suggestions nor punctuation marks that have appeared.)

I completely understand your request.

However, you can close it as it is already requested in the issue mentioned above.

This will avoid duplicates 😉
