[Feature Request] Disable spell check entirely #1189

I would like to be able to disable spell checking entirely, i.e. the red highlighting and popups on clicking words.

I dislike any kind of autocorrection from any keyboard, I'd rather backspace a bit than search visually for the correct spelling or hope that autocorrect guesses right, so I like that you can already disable most things. However, when I proof read my text after typing a longer text and find a mistake I want to directly move the cursor there and correct my mistake, the popup that comes up is in the way.

I don't specifically mind the red underline but I could do without.

You can simply turn it off in the phone's settings. It's usually in the system settings.
