Crystal Lenses stop working after logging out and back in (singleplayer) #2002

I was trying to get more starlight in my celestial altar, and I connected a chain of lenses from two Enhanced Collector Crystals to the altar. I checked the starlight levels in the altar and it was working. However, upon logging in again, the starlight level wasn't raised anymore. I tried breaking, replacing, and relinking the collector crystals and lenses to no avail.

Upon further investigation, the collector crystals still work fine even after relogging. I'm wondering if it's just the lenses that are having problems.
