Note I haven't done any extensive tests with the language pack. I will be relying on you to do a thorough playtest to ensure everything is translated and accounted for. Also check and ensure riddle codes are being shown in full--it would be a bad feeling to be immersed in the game only to have a riddle that can't be solved!!

@Polymega I want to rethink the translation and make my own version, this may take several months. I also do not agree with the change in the name of the save "Toilet". When we save for the first time, we immediately get a spoiler for future locations. Perhaps I would have renamed it something else or left it as is.

Something to consider: Most people won't make a save right at the start, but may make a save later on in the motorhome or bar. It would be confusing for this save to simply say "Toilet" in these locations.

Hello. I want to inform you that I haven't abandoned the translation, it's almost done. But it will be a pre-alpha version for now, I need to double-check the translation myself, then I need to replay the game to clarify some non-obvious interpretations. And that will become the alpha version, which I want to put out in text format for people to suggest edits, and then that will become the release version. I will most likely make edits after release as well, tell me from which version you would like to add my pack to the site?

Hello. I heard that you have released the latest update. Is there any support planned for translation packages? I want to release the alpha version before the release of the remake. In a best case scenario, a final version.

file and option_msg_*.mes

Change the language it overwrites from English to another Latin language
Right now, the language overwrites the English language. We typically encourage people who are making translation packs to not overwrite the English language for two reasons:
To change the language this pack uses: Simply rename all
.mes
files from*_e.mes
to*_X.mes
with "X" being either "S" (Spanish), "I" (Italian), "F" (French), or "G" (German).After you do this, you will need to open
option_msg_*.mes
and change which language is Russian. For example, if you decide to replace the German language, you will open youroption_msg_g.mes
file, change "Russian" back to "English", and then change "German" to "Russian", if that makes sense.After you make these changes, ensure the UFO ending cards are being correctly translated. Also, after you change it to another language being used, open the
language.ini
file and change the following line accordingly:SET DX_CONFIG_LANGUAGE #

Save/Load Screen: Character Limitations
These strings have character limitations. A has a limit of 11 characters. B has a limit of 27 characters. Please shorten these strings. If you don't, they will glitch out. You can see this for yourself by going to the SAVE (not LOAD) screen and scrolling through existing save files. As you scroll, these strings will begin to glitch out.

Change save file string name
This save file says "Toilet", however this save file name is shared between the beginning bathroom, BAR Neely's, and the Motorhome. Try it yourself: Do a custom save in the Motorhome and you'll see the save file is called "Toilet." I recommend changing this string to say "Restroom/Motorhome/Bar".
Some text needs to be blue
Anything that's being read from a note should have its text be blue. However, the devs forgot their own rule in a couple of places.

The first letter for the combo is also missing. It is present in
