Which one do we want? HDMI out on 4K, and higher res if we need it? Quad has independent four in four out.

there's no competition. 6GB/s dual channel:

is off project spec (4K has no relation to streaming)
isn't compatible with your monitors / other outboard gear (e.g. switches)
means you need a bunch of DeckLink 4K's
needs more computing power
looks kinda cool in the rack

rumours are Mac Pro is for October release which is a little too late for us :( otherwise 4 UltraStudio Mini Recorders could do the job (4 SDI->Thunderbolt) at a pretty nifty £99 each

i imagine BlackMagic might consider putting 4 of these together into a rack unit with 1 Thunderbolt uplink in the future. It's a shame they don't daisy-chain, as each one doesn't use the full bandwidth of a Thunderbolt port.
