Usually, when I'm inside an application (e.g. settings, terminal) and I open the top menu or the application menu, everything runs smoothly. However, if I'm on the "home page" with no application running at all, if I try to slowly slide open either, it's stuttering a bit (after the 2nd attempt and forth, if not straight away with the first attempt).
Might be a problem with rendering several UI elements simultaneously.
Steps to reproduce the bug
Close all applications (or reboot the phone then unlock it).
You should be on the "home page" with nothing but the background and the menu on the left side of the screen.
Progressively slide your finger from the left side to the right to open the application menu. Close it progressively and try again.
Progressively slide your finger from the top to the bottom to open the top menu. Close it progressively and try again.
You should notice the panel isn't opening/closing as smoothly as it should. Now if you try to open either fast, it will freeze for a short moment and then appear.
Now open any application from the menu (e.g. settings).
Try opening both menu progressively, one after another. Now it's running smoothly; maybe because there's only one at a time.
Expected behaviour
Both menus should open smoothly even when no application is running.
