BUG Fix site list item settings button layout/position #82

Open ldexterldesign opened 6 years ago

ldexterldesign commented 6 years ago

Hey,

Hope you're well

Thanks for software

Screen shot(s)/cast:

untitled mov

Can't appear to reproduce the bug in any of my other browsers so I'll say this is Tor browser-specific. Could be a box model issue with Tor although I've had a look at the HTML/CSS and this feature could be coded a lot cleaner which should fix it cross-browser (i.e. currently a lot of nasty position/display stuff going on).

If anyone else reading this agrees please up-vote or reply "+1"

Please let me know if there's a more suitable place to leave issues

Let me know if you have any issues - happy to help

Hope this is clear/useful

Regards

PS Sorry I can't PR right now!

BUMP

HelloZeroNet commented 6 years ago

Probably it's a Mac specific problem as I can't reproduce it on Windows

HelloZeroNet commented 6 years ago

I have added a possible fix, please check if it's fixed the issue: https://github.com/HelloZeroNet/ZeroHello/commit/3299b18aa9dc549d821ecc08ad405fe6122d4e9d

Cheers for reply

I'll check but first, how does one fix this?:

Hope to hear back

Thanks (in advance)

HelloZeroNet commented 6 years ago

probably tor: always mode is enabled, but it can't connect to tor proxy

ldexterldesign commented 6 years ago

It's the same in my other browsers (i.e. not Tor) too - how do I turn off "always mode"?

Cheers

Matceporial commented 6 years ago

I get the same problem in Tor browser on Linux (Elementary, Ubuntu based). It appears to be specific to the "⋮" character. (doesn't happen to "≡")

Is this bug still effecting current release? @HelloZeroNet

HelloZeroNet commented 5 years ago

I can't reproduce it, but it would be good if anyone could confirm it no longer an issue

ldexterldesign commented 5 years ago

Yes[s], still an issue

IMO CSS absolute positioning/units and you're asking for x-browser bugs

The whole navigation could do with an overhaul[o] but I'm not invested enough in this project ATM to PR

Hope this is useful

Regards
