ZeroNet haves built-in Tor, but I really doubt @shortcutme will implement CJDNS. Nofish/Tamas is not a hero or thinking on really open/uncensorable/blablabla, but is just creating a proof-of-concept network. Tor is a simple demo for it. He will never implement i2p or other things that makes ZeroNet more sincere as a project with "open/uncensorable communications" ideology.
@Krixano, come here to call me "jerk" like you did on other issue? ZeroMux is also a "jerk": http://web.archive.org/web/20180927171637/https://ieji.de/@zeromux
Would be exciting, but ultimately the first step is getting it to actually run. And so far I haven't seen that yet.
@April93 Did you merged the latest pull request from @tangdou1 , starting CJDNS then starting ZeroNet? Here I see my CJDNS IPv6 address when clicking on tray icon, see openned port on ZN start page and message that IPv6 bootstrapping is working as tracker, but after some time it returns to IPv4 (not CJDNS fault, already reported to the pull request).
personally i see no problem implementing as many protocols to support but to his defense there's only so much effort and time one person can spend
but again this is open source, you are free to just fork zeronet and make your version that supports i2p and CJDNS which i think most of us would gladly switch to it
back to CJDNS, one problem is it needs ipv6, which not everyone has but other then that i dont see any problems of adding more protocol supports
Wakey wakey, I sorta need this now. Censorship in HongKong is getting bad, Would be nice to start seeing Darknet meshing Zeronet and other encrypted services over Cjdns on an ad-hoc wifi network with laptops and phones.
After you setup a bootstrap node (enable bootstrap plugin, then add your cjdns ip to other nodes), it should work on cjdns
@HelloZeroNet Hi, could you link me to documentation about the bootstrap plugin? I couldn't find it in the ZeroDocs. Thanks!
