I was reading the recent issues and I see someone else also reported the same issue: https://github.com/HelloZeroNet/ZeroNet/issues/2241 @filips123 @imachug any idea why is this?
Notice in the other issue:
(no supported mime video)
Can you link me to an example file that doesn't work?
@imachug maybe. Give me a few minutes
You should read your own comment by the way: https://github.com/HelloZeroNet/ZeroNet/pull/2296#issuecomment-552151123
Eh, I remember what I wrote and re-read the thread before answering just in case. They said that it doesn't work on some videos so I wanted to check whether those videos are somewhat special that breaks mimetype detection, or whether it's a completely different problem.

No video works in ZeroNet. Is like CloudFlare IPFS.

Breaks MIME type detection? Are you kidding me? I was who contributed to MIME types and I was discredited and attacked. Is not my fault that some retarded ZeroNet dev thinks that hard-coding MIME types is bad. Fuck you give me credit for my contribution! Expecting me again to fix your shit and will be no credit given.
@imachug Just that you know. The site I linked to you http://127.0.0.1:43110/182BpxZLjLQpVNPPL8zHnjd6YdeKeu2o7M/ALL-POWER-TO-THE-PEOPLE.mp4 can't even be updated! Not possible because it is a trash and be honest without my previous contribution it will be even worse.
Please be sure the MP4 is using neither h.265 nor HEVC codec. H.265 and HEVC aren't supported due to patent royalty fees for browsers.
I'm not able to use an
mp4
video file in ZeroNet for some reason. I was able to sign and update the site in another node but I'm not able to play the video.@imachug can you look into this?
