Description

It is a general session on a new reference and citation discovery tool that can be used to find links between references and citations and pick out essential and relevant references.

Possible topics of discussion:

• Linking concepts
• Visualizing your references and citations (graph)
• Machine learning for concept linking
• Making a general tool for academic and non-academic purposes
• Note-taking, research paper discovery, best practices for writing academic papers, etc,.

Final outcome:

• Collecting suggestions and comments
• Suggestions for improving the existing tool
• An outline for a software prototype (breaking out)
• Invitation for contributors
