Here is my command prompt when I was trying to compile r428. I'm relatively new
to Linux and don't know how to fix this?

So, apparently, on my fresh Ubuntu 12.04, g++ wasn't installed properly. I did
a "apt-get install g++" and it has compiled now without a problem.
