DAIL New Hire Procedure Clarification and Script Rewrite

We need updates to the procedure and new clarification and explanation in the HSR Manual on how to process New Hire messages. This procedural update should be handled separately and first in this effort. There may be some delay on this as there may be updates to the direction on this from DHS.

Then we need to completely reevaluate the script operation to handle New Hire messages in the DAIL Scrubber. Items to account for:

• Each type of New Hire (NDNH, SDNH, CS, MEC2)
• Follow up needs
• Clarity of what the script reads, which type of New Hire it is, where it is in the process
• Handling for children (Adding the option to check that school verification was sent)
• Handling for 'wrong people' or if people are no longer on the case
• Direction to the updated procedure.
• Possible BULK solutions
• Intermittent loss of case number of SDNH matches

This issue will account for concerns listed in other issues that we will close:

Feedback from user: "Script couldn't clear the match because I had to go into elig to check the savings. Would be good if the script could get back to the infc from elig or dail". In future rewrite we will read for the savings amounts from the approved versions of SNAP and/or MFIP.

TE02.08.142 states that NDNH HIRE messages are for SNAP and/or MFIP FS portion only. I have several questions about this that I'll be posing to DHS.

Rewrite should also include removing message boxes that inhibit the script run (child under 19 as example). We should look at supporting

• [ ] handling child under 19.
• [ ] Inactive cases.
• [ ] cases where the job is already known.
• [ ] Any other situations that don't require an update.

There's no button handling for next member/next panel buttons, so that will also need to be fixed.
