Settings not being saved anymore on the latest windows release #1059

Ok so something i just noticed with the latest version on Windows. I am not able to save my password anymore, I recently changed my password for my AD account, yet ever time I launch this I am given an authentication error so I go in and add my new password in and make sure the sav4e password is checked. It loads, then when I close it and go back i get the same error..

I tried making a new server entry, I tried the installed version, I have tried just about everything but not able to get this to stick when I relaunch the app

I even went so far as to locate the server config in "C:\Users\MYUser.nagstamon" and totally blow out the file there, set a new server with the proper details.. clicked save login, get in just fine.. Close the app and open it again and get an auth error

Wow ok so what I finally did, was in the settings there is a check box for "use system keyring for server credentials" as a test I ticked this off, and it seems to now be sticking.. My question is now why does this now make an impact, I have been running this for ages and had a few password changes during that time and this is the only time I have seen this issue
