eSRRF and CLIJ incompatibility #2

Open DSbioimaging opened 2 years ago

DSbioimaging commented 2 years ago

eSRRF throws exceptions when trying to run an analysis or getting OpenCL info. Removal of CLIJ and re-installation of eSRRF solves the problem.

A following CLIJ re-installation lists the JOCL library among the updated files suggesting a library incompatibility between the two plugins.

Thank you for the latest release!

Thank you for spotting that issue! We will take a look at it soon.

EsleyGit commented 2 years ago

Hi, that mean that i have to remove CLIJ? I need it for other plugins.

paxcalpt commented 2 years ago

Hi Esley, while we look into it, you can actually have more than one Fiji/ImageJ installation, each with its own plugins that don't have compatibility issues with each other

EsleyGit commented 2 years ago

Thank you. Yes, you are right, I have installed ImageJ and Fiji, but only one version of each. I do not know what exactly I should do to solve the problem.

Hi @EsleyGit , You can even have two Fiji installations saved in different locations with different sets of plugins. I'll look into the incompatibility issue, but it might take some time to find out which libraries are in conflict. I hope this helps as a quick fix in the meanwhile ;).
