Cannot paste into login window #335

I use a password manager to allow for better / more difficult / longer passwords. On apps like Hermes, I would typically copy / paste from my password manager. Unfortunately, pasting doesn't work with Hermes. It would be good if that were fixed.

Sorry, I can't reproduce this one — I have no problems pasting into the "Sign in to Pandora" fields through any method of which I'm aware. Could you describe exactly the steps you're trying to perform?

I tested a bit more and found that I can right click to pop up the menu with the paste option. But if I press cmd-v, the password isn't pasted.

This is on Mac OS 10.13.4.

I still can't reproduce this. What shows up in the Edit menu next to "Paste" when the email / password fields have keyboard focus? This is my Edit menu for comparison.

Also, are you signing into and out of multiple Pandora accounts? If not, generally Hermes should keep your Pandora password in the macOS Keychain and you should only have to do this once!

I see the edit menu and pasting from it works.

Pasting with cmd-v doesn't work.

I'm not signing in / out on a regular basis. It's just something that I noticed when trying to sign on the first time and though you would want to know.

OK, I have no idea and of course cannot fix anything I can’t reproduce. Must be something weird with your Mac’s configuration. I have not heard about this issue from others but will leave this ticket open in case anyone else stumbles on the problem.

Thanks for trying to help!
