1 year ago oooh.. I was actually aware of this issue but forgot about it totally. I remember it was "complex" and left for later hahah thanks for bringing it up anyways so it is on the backlog!
If you choose a skill as part of a class, and then in your Background choose the same skill because it's what the Background gives you, then it gives you Expertise when you are done. Instead, it should deny that as an option so the player can then pick their own other skill. IE I picked Arcana with my Class and then Arcana again with the background and now I have Expertise with it, I see why, but I should not have been able to pick it in Background. Not a priority to fix though, please fix the DEX skill issue first lol! Thank you!
